Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Council of Burwood will be held in the Conference Room, 2 Conder Street, Burwood on Wednesday 24 July 2024 at 6:00 PM to consider the matters contained in the attached Agenda.

 

The public gallery will be open for those wishing to observe the meeting. However, seating will be limited. In addition, an opportunity to observe the meeting via audio visual link will be made available and the meeting will be livestreamed in the Community Hub located onsite.

9.       Mayoral Minutes

 

(Item MM4/24)          Commemorating 150 Years of Burwood

The Mayoral Minute will commemorate the 150th anniversary of Burwood Council’s inaugural meeting, held on 24 July 1874. In honour of this historic occasion, the Mayoral Minute will be read out on the evening by the Mayor of Burwood, Cr John Faker, in the presence of The Hon. Ron Hoenig, MP, Minister for Local Government, current and former Councillors, senior staff of the Council and members of the Burwood community.
